New Resident Baskets
St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Welcomes New Residents to Jefferson!
St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson, WI, recently extended a warm welcome to new
members of the community by delivering 81 “Welcome” gift baskets to residents who
have just moved to the city.
Each gift basket was thoughtfully prepared and included gift certificates as well as a
variety of items generously donated by local businesses. As a special bonus, four
recipients of these baskets were randomly selected to receive $250 checks, with the
funds coming from a $1,000 pool comprised of business donations.
St. Mark’s Lutheran Church would like to express heartfelt gratitude to all the local
businesses that contributed items and cash to make this initiative possible. Their
generosity has played a significant role in making newcomers feel at home. Welcome to
